What a Journey!

heartfelt design has been many things in the last few years...jewelry, interior design, organizing... all of which are talents that I have a real passion for. But as of late, I have been drawn back to what all started it...the "rocks". I have had a love of them since I was old enough to walk and have come full circle once again. The inspiration is flowing like the rapids!
With that, I have had to make a few decisions. The older I get, the more it is evident that I can NOT focus on more that one thing at a time and do them well. So I am setting the interior design and organizing aside for the time being. It is just waiting a while not giving it up.

I hope that one day it will be time once again to create the restful places and organized spaces, but until them...I shall play with my ROCKS!

Tag Development

I have figured out that I like the "hd" with a dangling heart the best. I have done some more work on it. The heart looks more like silver. I may even want to put some silver leaf on it to make it stand out. I just can not figure out if it should have a border or a patterned background. Suggestions?

New Tag Ideas

Here are two ideas I played around with for a new tag for packaging...what do you think? The top one is a start but I am not sure it is the look I really want. The bottom one has potential. I really like the heart if It could be made to look even more like silver.

Thankful!

God is truly amazing! Over three years ago He woke me up at 12:20am to give me “heartfelt design…a touch of heart mixed with prayer”. At the time it was an answer to a prayer and a “sign” to start my business. NEVER did I think that He would continue to speak to me and teach me through it. The heartfelt design was about HIS heartfelt design for me…how He wired me…how He knit me together. That was huge! (and still is) But most recently was an instruction. Do everything you do with a touch of heart mixed with prayer. What once was a tag line is quickly becoming a measuring stick for all I do. It is not easy, but it is something I am working toward.

What am I thank God for? I thank Him for blowing my socks off once again! Just when I think I have gotten everything out of what He gives me, He shows me a new facet.

Mission Statement

The last few weeks have been a real journey for me. I have be doing a lot of soul searching to decide what my next step is with heartfelt design llc. I have such a passion for prayer and intercession. But I have been given talents that I am passionate about as well. That is the interior design, organizing and the jewelry design. The interior design and organizing really go hand in hand, but the jewelry...well that is off in left field. A question that I have been asking myself this week is where does my passions encounter or fulfill a need in the world?

I have not come to any dicisions yet, but I have come to a discovery. What started as a tag line has become the start of a mission statment of sorts. I am growing more and more passiate about doing everything I do with a touch of heart mixed with prayer.

It will be interesting to see what is instore next.

Well...I just had to do it!

Well, because my good friend suggested that I needed to have a blog, well here I am...blogging. (no mom, I would not jump off the bridge if someone suggested it...unless hehehe)

It is hard to believe that not even a month ago I was ready to stop making jewelry and sell my beads. I had forgotten why I really enjoyed it. Now look at where I am...I have jewelry "on-line" to sell in my Etsy shop (www.heartfeltdesignllc.etsy.com), I am looking ahead to the Christmas season's home shows and who knows what after that...

It is amazing how a desperate or several desperate prayers will change your life...one day at a time. Granted, it is not at all what I was expecting, but it is so much better. Because of how God has been answering my prayers, I have gotten the opportunity to touch others hearts as well as been blessed by so many. Nope, I saw it working out differently, but the Lord has the Master plan. He knows what is best. I just wish He would let me peek once in a while!
